To celebrate these faculty researchers and the impact they have, I launched the IUPUI Center for Translating Research Into Practice (TRIP). I initially asked Professor Sandra Petronio to spearhead the initiative and Stephan Viehweg to serve as Interim Director. Today I serve as the Executive Director of the center and am pleased to have Stephan serving as the Associate Director. Dr. Petronio continues to assist in identifying best practices in translation of evidence into practice. This center both identifies IUPUI’s translational scholars and recognizes their work in several programs. We are excited about the potential to bring local and national attention to the great work our faculty are doing on the campus of IUPUI. Please join our efforts!
